Olney Indoor swim Center

What: This is a clinic for RECERTIFYING MCSL referees who have previously earned certification in that position by attending a regular MCSL clinic in prior years. Material covered will include a review of the rules and clarifications for the 2006 season and there will be case-oriented discussions of problems encountered at meets as well as a review of stroke and turn rules. There will be one single session for all attending. This clinic is for those officials who already have experience working as a certified MCSL REFEREE. Certified referees, who are also certified as a Stroke and Turn Judge (S/T), can earn recertification for both positions by participating in this clinic.

Who: ONLY MCSL officials who have previously been certified as referee.

Why: REFEREES can be "recertified" in both the referee and S/T positions in this one clinic. There will be some discussion of starting rules and stroke and turn rules, intended to provide referees with necessary information. The clinic is not open to officials certified only in starting and/or stroke and turn, and the clinic will not provide recertification or initial certification in those positions.
