• Continue straight through signal at Georgia Avenue; Rt. 28/Norbeck deadends at Layhill Road
• Left onto Layhill, continue through signal at the Red Door Store, Layhill becomes Ednor Road
• Go thru next light at New Hampshire Avenue, take 2nd left on Donora Road
• Take first right on Hornell Drive.
• Pool Entrance is 50 yards on the right.

• Exit at River Road (Rt. 190). Go toward DC.
• Go about 1.5 miles, Turn right onto Wilson Lane (south Rt. 181).
• Take Wilson Lane until it ends in MacArthur Blvd. Turn left on    MacArthur Blvd.
• Take your first left onto Bannockburn Drive.
• Second left onto Laverock Lane.
• The pool is at the end of Laverock, see note about parking below.

From other points north:

• Take MacArthur Blvd south toward DC.
• Cross the one-lane bridge.
• After the bridge, take your second left onto Bannockburn Drive.
• Second left onto Laverock Lane.
• The pool is at the end of Laverock, see note about parking below.

NOTE - Visiting team parking will be provided in the Bannockburn Community Club lot, on the left, immediately after the turn off Bannockburn Drive.  Overflow parking is along Bannockburn Drive.   

Laverock Lane dead-ends at the Pool, one block from the Community Club lot.  Do not enter the Pool parking lot to drop off swimmers (the exception is if you have swim team equipment to deliver to the Pool.  Access to the Pool is only through the parking lot.  The lot is small with tight turns, excess traffic causes a dangerous situation.  Thank you.

From Connecticut Ave

• Take Connecticut Avenue North through Kensington.
• Turn Right at Plyers Mill Road (traffic light at the firehouse).
• Drive approx. one mile past the Oakland Terrace Elementary School to Brunswick Ave.
• Turn Right onto  Brunswick Ave. proceed downhill to Dennis Ave,
• Turn Left on Dennis Ave.
• Turn Right on Gardiner Ave. and proceed to the bottom of the hill.
• Turn Left and pool entrance will be on your right.

Glenwood has two parking lots.  The main lot is located off Gardiner.  The upper parking lot is located at the McKenney Hills Learning Center at 2600 Hayden Dr.  The lot can be reached by turning right onto Hayden Dr. at the bottom of Gardiner Ave. There is a sidewalk from the upper parking lot to the pool.  Use the upper lot gate to enter the pool facility.

Please do not park in the private driveway at the foot of Hildarose Ave.

• Proceed 1/4 mile and turn right on Prince Phillip

• Turn right at the light onto ARCOLA AVENUE    
• At the second traffic light on ARCOLA, turn left onto KEMP MILL ROAD.  
• Follow KEMP MILL down and then up until you reach the Traffic Light at HERMLEIGH ROAD and turn Right. 
• Stay on HERMLEIGH ROAD until it splits and follow the right-hand fork which is STONINGTON PLACE.

• Take Wootten Pkwy to end.
• Right on Glen Mill Rd.
• Left on Darnestown Rd. (Rt 28).
• Stay on Rt 28 past GE office bldg.
• Right on Tschiffely Square Rd at entrance to Kentlands
• Drive 5 blocks & see pool straight ahead.

From 270 North  

• TAKE EXIT 8, REDLAND BOULEVARD EAST.  
• TURN RIGHT ONTO THOMPSON DAIRY WAY.  
• POOL ON THE RIGHT.

• Rt. 495 West to I-270 North.

• Right on Wightman to first traffic light (Goshen Rd.).
• Left on Goshen Rd. to East Village Ave. (several hundred yards on right).
• Right on East Village Ave. to pool ~ 1/4 mile on left.

• Take the River Road exit, toward Washington.

• Turn right on Greenway.  
• Cross over little bridge.  
• Take the first left onto Little Falls Drive.  
• Take the first left, over the wooden bridge and into the Little Falls parking lot.

From Connecticut Avenue

• Take Connecticut Avenue to Western Avenue.  
• Take Western Avenue southwest (toward the Potomac River) to River Road (1 mile).  
• Turn right on River road.  
• At next light (intersection River with Greenway/Willard Avenue), turn left
  onto Greenway.  
• Cross over little bridge.  
• Take the first left onto Little Falls Drive.  
• Take the first left, over the wooden bridge and into the Little Falls parking lot.

From Wisconsin Avenue

• Take Wisconsin Avenue toward Washington.  
• Pass through Bethesda.  (Pass a series of residential streets, then some high rises and Saks). 
• At the light just past the GAP stores on your right, turn right onto Willard Avenue. 
• Follow Willard to River Road and go straight across the intersection.  Willard turns into Greenway. 
• Cross over little bridge.  
• Take the first left onto Little Falls Drive.  
• Take the first left, over the wooden bridge and into the Little Falls parking lot.

• Turn right onto Bauer Dr. at the traffic light.  
• Go 3/4 mile and the pool is on the right.
