Welcome to the Montgomery County Swim League

The Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL) sponsors competitive  swimming and other activities among the swimming pools and organizations in Montgomery County, Maryland. The goals of the program include helping young people establish a love for the sport of swimming, advanced aquatic skills, teamwork, and the principles of good sportsmanship.

Volunteers Needed for All Star Relays and Individual All Stars

The All Star Officials/Volunteer Coordinators for each Division are in the process of soliciting volunteers to work as Officials (Referee, Starter and Stroke & Turn Judges) as well Timers/Take-Off Judges/Marshals. If you wish to work as an official, please contact the competition committee at competition@mcsl.org with the session (All Star Relays - Section I, All Star Relays - Section II or Individual All Stars) you want to work, your preferred assignment and your team and division affiliation. All other volunteers are asked to sign up using the following links:

Parents/Guardians seeking to transfer MCSL teams please note: MCSL rules now require permission to transfer from one team to another if certain conditions are not met.

  • Familiarize yourself with MCSL swim team eligibility rules by clicking here.
  • Understand the conditions that the MCSL Rules Committee takes into account when evaluating transfer requests by clicking here.
  • The window for applying to transfer from one MCSL team to another is no earlier than March 15 and no later than May 1 of the year during which the transfer is sought.
  • An online transfer application is available for submission between March 15 and May 1 (note that it is not necessary to submit a transfer application if the conditions in rule 7g are met).
