Individual All Star Meet Notices

COVID-19 Meet Supplement

All Meet participants should thoroughly review the updated Meet Supplement, including the COVID-19 Protocols, prior to attending the meet.

Limitation on Number of Coaches Allowed in the Competition Area

There will be three areas on the pool deck surrounding the Competition Area from which coaches may watch the competition. These areas are designated for “Coaches Only”. Only two coaches from each MCSL team and a limited number of PVS coaches that do not coach an MCSL team will be allowed in these areas at any given time during the meet. Wristbands that identify which coaches may utilize the designated “Coaches Only” areas can be picked up at the Clerk Of Course during warm-ups. Teams may have other coaches on-site during the meet and, if needed, these coaches may also accompany swimmers to the starting area to assist with masks (25M events only), towels (younger swimmers only) or the provision of “legs” for backstroke starts.

Protocol for Swimmers that want to wear a Mask to the Starting Area

If an athlete is masked, chooses to wear a mask to the Starting Area and is swimming either a 50M or 100M event, once they are in position behind their lane the athlete must place their mask in a labeled plastic bag and place the bag in one of the face-covering baskets that will be behind each lane. Athletes may then retrieve their masks from the baskets upon completion of their event. If an athlete is masked, chooses to wear a mask to the Starting Area and is swimming a 25M event, they must bring a coach to the Clerk of Course, place their mask in a labeled plastic bag upon entering the Starting Area and hand the labeled plastic bag, containing the mask, to their coach to return to the swimmer after their event.

Shuttle Service from Montgomery College

Shuttle service will be available from 6:00am until after the meet ends. The shuttle parking location will be at Montgomery College, Rockville lot 10 which is the lot adjacent to Mannakee Street closest to the Swim and Fitness Center. Meet attendees should look for the “Shuttle Stop”. If you utilize the shuttle service masks are required to be worn while you are on the bus. Disposable masks will be available on the shuttle for riders that do not have there own.
